Healthcare Recycling
Lifecycle is a fully circular Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) waste collection and recycling program for hospitals. PPE waste is collected throughout the hospital and prepared for pickup. At our facility in Brantford, Ontario, these materials will be sterilized, and formed into pellets. This pellet will be used to create nonwoven textile for masks and disposable isolation gowns, and injection-molded items used in healthcare. These items can be recycled at the end of their life, forming a circular lifecycle.
How it Works
Sort.
Our specially-designed bins allow you to safely collect PPE and blue sterilization Wrap. Bags are also available for use in ORs and wards
Store.
When bins are full, store them in your warehouse on pallets or bins. Let us know when a truckload is available.
Transport.
At your scheduled pickup, we pick up filled boxes and drop off empty boxes. We transport to our plant in Brantford, Ontario for reprocessing.
For prepaid boxes use the supplied prepaid labels.
